As part of its commitment to encourage better health, motivation, and happiness amongst all employees, UAS trusted Corporate Sports to build a Corporate Wellness Program in its Middle East Headquarters. Corporate Sports created a fully-fledged corporate wellness program for UAS encompassing several aspects of employees wellbeing for 12 months.

What we did for UAS

The wellness program structure and methodology:

in collaboration with UAS HR team, Corporate Sports provided framework and procedures and helped appoint two new positions: Chief Wellness Officer and Chief Sports Officer.

The wellness program corporate identity:

in collaboration with UAS marketing team, Corporate Sports crafted a logo for the program and its brand guidelines.

Program effectiveness and KPIs:

several tools were created to help measure the effectiveness of the program

  • Activities feedback survey: a feedback form sent after each activity to assess employees satisfaction and interest
  • Happiness barometer: monthly survey to measure the happiness of employees. This has served a primary KPI.
  • Sports preference survey: survey to understand UAS employees sports habits and interests to build the backbone of the company sports platform

Wellness sessions:

sessions moderated by clinical specialist to make important health events. E.g. Mental Health Awareness Month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month…etc

Movember

Engagement activities:

activities focusing on creating employees engagement in the wellness. E.g. Movember Challenge (growing moustache to raise awareness on men’s cancer)

Sport activities:

activities to encourage employees to stay active in the workplace and outside. E.g. UAS Foosball Tournament
