The 2019 Corporate Sports Ramadan Tournament came to a spectacular end on Saturday the 25th of May when the Emirates Basketball team and the du “Falcons” Football team emerged victorious from the finals, beating tough competition in Aramex and Chalhoud respectfully, to claim the tournament’s top prizes.
At sunrise on the first day of Ramadan, 1.8 billion Muslims all over the globe began their spiritual journeys toward a renewed sense of consciousnesses and closeness to Allah. The Holy Month is not only a time of abstinence, but also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and communities. The inaugural Corporate Sports Championship Dubai, held in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, finished with a flourish on Saturday night February 23 with many of the UAE top companies taking home cash and prizes to the value of AED300,000.
Over AED350,000 worth of cash and prizes was handed out at the climax of the highly successful first ever Corporate Sports Championship Dubai on Saturday February 23rd.
Among the winners were some of the UAE’s top local and global companies such as du, Boston Consulting Group and PwC.
